Exxon Chemical Plant 1994 Explosion

WAFB News reports on the explosion at the Exxon Chemical Plant in 1994. Twenty two hours after the explosion, there was still fire. However, Exxon asked that all workers, both regular and contract, show up to work on time the next day. Residents report on hearing the explosion, but that they heard no sirens or warnings. The Mayor said the overall experience was “positive” - there was no loss of life.
